Our Insurance department is seeking a licensed, self-motivated, and outgoing individual to join their team as a crop insurance agent. This is a work-from-home position with travel to prospective and existing clients’ homes or places of business. Enjoy unlimited earning potential with no territory limitations. Compensation

Requirements

  • Crop Insurance license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Area knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively and reach sales goals

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares quotations, binders, and related correspondence
  • Prepares comprehensive sales proposals
  • Works with company field representatives as needed to make recommendations to clients
  • Cross-sell products and services, refer inquiries and leads to appropriate contact person
  • Maintain agency files (data entry)

Qualifications

  • Proven record of success in Crop Insurance industry
  • 3-5 years of crop insurance experience is preferred
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and their respective coverages
  • Ability to assess the unique risks of each prospect/client to determine the correct coverages needed
